First day in Hong Kong!

Hey all! Nathaniel here :) It's my turn to blog about the day, so I get to tell you all about a super cool Buddhist temple and a historical garden/nunnery.

The Buddhist temple was a pretty neat way to start off the day (skipping all the boring parts about standing around in an airport trying to figure out which way was baggage claim) The place was supposed to have 10,000 statues of monks, all on either side of a mountainside pathway. It's said that if you look closely, you can find a statue that shares your face. Personally, I think I found mine, but I'll leave that up to you.

And here is a photo from about half way up the mountain,
And one looking out upon Hong Kong from the top.

After the Buddhist temple, we visited a historic garden and nunnery. We took lots of pictures and had a wonderful time slowing down and taking a peaceful walk with both nature and awesome wood architecture around us.

We'll all be keeping you updated as things continue to happen!
Nathaniel
